If you want somewhere for all the family to enjoy come and visit The Flying Fortress, near Bognor Regis, situated just off the A259 between Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. We are a children’s activity centre with one of the biggest and most unusual playframes on the South Coast, big enough for grown-ups too!
Our multi award-winning Centre was opened in March 2005 by mum-of-four, Violaine Roberts when she moved down to West Sussex with her adventurous, fun-loving family. A newcomer to business, Violaine is now one of the region’s top businesswomen recently winning the British Chamber of Commerce South East regional award for Entrepreneur of the Year. We also won Best Small Business and the Business Marketing and Promotion Awards in this year’s Littlehampton and Bognor Regis Business Partnership Awards.
Open daily, The Flying Fortress is packed with great children’s activities geared towards keeping everyone fit and healthy through energetic fun and creative play. If that’s a bit too much, we do have pool tables and video games but if you need a complete rest, there’s plenty of room in the café, which serves a good range of freshly prepared food and beverages with lots of healthy options too.
In addition to children's activities and parties, we run workshops for toddlers on term-time weekday mornings with specialist guest teachers leading the little ones, accompanied by mum or dad, in structured lessons in yoga, music, babysigning and crafts. It’s a great place to meet other parents and for children to socialise whilst having the playframe all to themselves before or after the workshop.
You’ll always find exciting things happening during the holidays. We have been known to do some pretty wacky stuff, like real ice rinks and giant sandpits …..so don’t ever be surprised with what you might find. We host fantastic birthday parties to suit all budgets and wonderful themed events with traditional party games.
