Landlords…………1st October 2008 Deadline!
From 1st October, Landlords of residential properties to be let will be required to make an Energy Performance Certificate available, to any prospective tenants.
Landlords will be familiar with the requirement to produce the Landlords Gas Safety Certificate annually, however the Landlords EPC benefits from a 10-year lifespan. You may not have to worry about a Home Information Pack right now, but the Energy Performance will be mandatory.
