At Dreams Come True charity our sole mission is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and young people aged 2 to 21, not only from Bognor Regis, but also throughout the UK. In doing so we are immensely proud to bring some much deserved happiness, laughter and excitement into the lives of the children and families concerned. It is quite amazing to hear how a child and family’s understandable preoccupation with debilitating treatment and care; and worry about an uncertain future can be transformed to something so positive, uplifting and everlasting
The children and their dreams are both unique and vary widely from swimming with dolphins, meeting celebrities and having specialised care equipment to enhance quality of life to waking up to a herd of cows in the back garden and writing and publishing a novel. D’Arcy Myers, Chief Executive, based at Midhurst, near to Bognor Regis, summed up Dreams Come True’s credo perfectly when stating “the only limit to a dream is a child’s imagination”. The powerful impact of this can be witnessed everyday as another child’s dream comes true as a result of developing special relationships with all the families and carers involved.
More and more people, many of whom have never supported a charitable organisation before, are inspired by these examples and experiences of how one individual really can make a difference. You can run, walk, swim, cycle, stage a fundraising event in Bognor Regis, or join our Dream Partner Programme and make a regular donation or simply support our charitable organisation by just turning up at an event in Bognor Regis or elsewhere around the country, or on a occasion when a child will benefit as a direct result.

This charity truly is exceptional. The dedication they make to granting childrenʼs dreams and wishes is truly admirable. It is very hard to put into words the exceptional ʼmagicʼ that Dreams Come True do for children with terminal and serious illnesses. The whole team deserve medals for the extra mile they go to provide lasting memories for children and their families. Help them however you can.
I have been helping the Dreams Come True charity raise valuable funds for the last couple of years and they do a brilliant job in fulfilling terminally ill or seriously ill childrenʼs dreams come true. I know how hard the team work and I urge companies and individuals alike to make a contribution no matter how small or large, to make a difference to these childrenʼs difficult lives.
