Ive just returned from another fabulous morning at Kathian's. I have a fantastic haircut that is so easy to look after and I've had a good laugh and a chat too. Kath has now been cutting my hair for 2 years and it has neer felt so good. I always thought that my hair was thin and wispy but, due to Kath's expert techniques, I discovered that my hair is lovely and thick and had just been cut disastrously for many years. From my very first visit I was made to feel so welcome. Kath, as I always tell you -You're a Star!!
I must apologise as I meant to add my testimonial some time ago. I came across Kathians in August of 2010 and what a welcome. I made a second appointment for October and again I have to say the best hair cut and style I ever had, and I am no spring chicken anymore. Now I simply wash, stick on mousse, whizz on fast blast and its done, brilliant and it lasts for ages, no having to wash and redo next day, all down to the brilliant cutting skills of Kathian. By far the best haircut I've had in a very, very long time! As soon as I made this appointment over the phone, I just knew I was going to feel relaxed and made to feel welcome at Kathian's. Kath kindly kept the salon open late to accomodate me and upon my arrival I met what I hope to be a new friend as well as new hairdresser. My cut is fantastic- no chipping in, no razoring, just professional 'old school' styling with 'real' cutting techniques followed by a blowdry to die for! The colour is just what I asked for without having to aimlessly search through colour charts - Kath knew exactly what I wanted and got it spot on. I left that salon feeling a new woman. After some girly giggles it's not just my hair that got some therapy but I did too. There is a lovely warm, therapeutic atmosphere which makes you feel as though you've been going there all your life. Kath is a very warm, bubbly, fun person with a genuine interest in her customers which makes a difference in how you feel throughout the whole experience. I felt like Kath genuinely wanted to make me look and feel good, almost as though she could tell maybe I didnt and that I needed to! I could've sat there for hours and look forward to my next appointment.
Kathy restyled my hair whilst on a visit to my Bed & Breakfast in Alicante, Spain. She re-cut it using the club cut method and I have never been happier. It feels and looks so much thicker, I´m thrilled to bits. Thanks Kath, great job.

My names Ellie and I found kathians on this website because I was looking for a decent hairdressers as I'm from Suffolk and I visit my boyfriend in Blackpool on weekends. I've had my fair share of cock ups with my hair and didn't want that again and at kathians she listened to what I wanted and delivered great results. I wanted my hair highlighted for the first time and my hair trimmed because im trying to grow my layers out so just wanted a subtle change and I got just that, my boyfriend loves it and so do I. Highly recommend Kathians, I'll be back in 6 weeks for another appointment.
I started having my hair done by Kathy about three months ago, and now treat my Friday afternoons as a social event. The customers never stop laughing, we all have a great chat and she does my hair exactly as I want it.
After discovering this hairdressers on here & seen it was highly recommended i decided to give it a try, every testimonal i read that other people wrote about their visit is 100% right. I took my 6 year old Daughter with me as well & we both had our hair done, Kath & the other lady were very friendly & welcoming. I am really delighted with my restyle & my Daughter was chuffed with her hair too, i can honestly say this is the best haircut i have had in Blackpool after living here 12 years, i will definately recommend it to all my friends which i have already done on Facebook & both myself & Daughter will be returning even though we live in Central & they are located in North shore. Hi, I called into Kathians while on holiday recently. I felt very welcome and comfortable immediately, the young lady on work experience was very friendly and polite; which is quite unusual in the 'trendy' hairdressers we mostly have today. Kathian herself gave me a brilliant hair cut and blow wave and was friendly and chatty at the same time. Not only did I get a haircut but she also helped me find accommodation for a future weekend in Blackpool and rang the hotel herself on my behalf. I cannot recommend Kathians highly enough, I will definitely be returning to Kathians the next time I am in Blackpool. Thank you

I just have to say how FANTASTIC Kath is. What she did for me and my 7 year old daughter went well beyond the call of duty. We have never been to Kath's before but after reading these reviews I knew we would be in good hands and be welcomed. I telephoned Kath to arrange an appointment and because of work comittments, we couldn't find a time to suit. So bless Kath, she opened up her salon on a SUNDAY for us! Even though we have never been customers before Kath opened up on a Sunday and welcomed us like we were old friends. Now you don't get that very often do you? Hi my name is Laura, and I found Kathian's on this very web page. I had done a previous DIY Job on myself, with not so good results (as we often do) But wont do again.. Kath fitted me in around her very busy saturday morning, at short notice, to which I was grateful, When I got there, the atmosphere was warm, friendly and best of all, laced with frequent humour, I had a coffee, then told Kath my tale of woe, within minutes, she had a plan.. On leaving after my new and well improved Colour, and fab cut, I would recommend this salon to my friends and family, infact Mum is going in the next few weeks, and to top it all, the price didnt break the bank - success, and I will be visiting Kath on a regular basis from now on :-)

I have just got home from having my hair cut, it has been a while since I have had the courage to go to a hairdressers, when I popped in to make an appointment I was greeted with a huge friendly smile and a warm atmosphere instantly, I knew I would be comfortable enough to go ahead.So pleasent and uplifting, my hair looks so good, kath shows a real confidence in what she is doing and makes you feel great, it was a rainy day but I left feeling the sunshine. Recently visited Blackpool from North Lincolnshire to attend a function and booked an appointment at Kathian in advanced. (Never been there before but liked the website). Was very pleased with the outcome. The salon is bright and modern. Kath cut my hair and did a super job. Very friendly and sociable person, obviously an experienced and talented stylist/hairdresser. Warm and chatty environment with a non-nonsense approach to getting the job done at a very reasonable price! Very happy with the results and will definately have my hair done there again if I'm visiting Blackpool in the future. Thanks Kathy!
Kath used to cut my hair when I lived in Blackpool. When we moved I tried local hairdressers but nobody understood my hair like Kath. She is not only a brilliant hair stylist but she advises me on how to keep my style up in between cuts. The Salon is such a friendly place to visit it makes having your hair cut and dressed a real outing and with such a good cut and style you come out feeling a million dollars.
I have just returned home from Kath`s having had my usual cut & colour. I have been a customer of Kath`s for a long time, having followed her from her previous salon. In my opinion, she is a fabulous hairdresser, the cut is always good, she listens to what the customer wants & isn`t "scissor happy". It`s always a tonic to go there, as there is always something happening. She is a good hearted, kind person who is always willing to go the extra mile for her customers & friends--- many of which start as one & end as the other.
After reading Kathian's testimonials and desperate for a 'good' haircut, I made an appointment to see if Kath was everything the testimonials said. Boy was I in for a treat. Not only is Kath a funny, sassy, welcoming, beautiful lady, she is a great hairdresser. I spent an hour with Kath, Jean and several of their customers in what was the most hilarious 60 minutes I've had since Joe Pasquale dragged me on stage at the Grand Theatre. It's worth a visit even if you don't have your hair done, but that would be a shame, as Kath aims to make you feel and look wonderful when you leave her salon and everyone did during my visit. She has a rare quality of making you feel like an old friend having only spent a short time in her company. I can't wait for my hair to grow so I can go back for some more feelgood factor and oh yes, I almost forgot, a great haircut.
I returned to Kathians yesterday for the ist time in 15 years due to relocation. It was as if I had never been away. The friendly atmosphere in the shop hits you as soon as you walk through the door. Kath is an excellent stylist and puts your mind at ease instantly and she cuts your hair confidently knowing what you have in mind. Also sat in the salon among other ladies some friends some complete strangers chatting amd laughing it made you feel good, almost thereputic. Having seen Kathians recommended on this site I decided to go and get my hair styled and coloured there and I have to say it was the best choice Iʼve ever made. As soon as you walk through the door you get a real friendly welcome, in fact before I had left it felt like me and my son ; who Iʼd brought along with me, had become part of the "salons family of customers". Kath even let my son help her around the salon which he absolutely loved!I was offered a coffee as soon as I sat down, and as I watched Kath doing other customers hair, I was amazed at how quickly she worked and she did a perfect job each time. Then it came to my turn, Kath sat down with me and discussed the style and colours I wanted, and I have to say WOW, she did a perfect job, exactly how I wanted it, after all the hairdressers Iʼve ever been to, I can now say Iʼve found my hairdresser for life in Kath! I wonʼt be going anywhere else from now on, I highly recommend Kathians!
i found kathians on the web, thank goodness i did she was a life saver, i had gone blonde to dark elsewhere and hated it. i called kat after seeing her on the web, she was very freindly and ensured me i could go back to blonde, and she was right, she also cut my hair brilliantly, i would recomend her 100ʼ% i even had my lunch made 4 me.while waiting for my colour to take,i wont go anywere else now.
