We asked Mark and his team to remove some conifers from our garden, prune some trees, lay the rest of the garden to lawn and create a a small patio area and path. Where they could they re-used existing items we had in the garden to cut down on costs and they did not try and sell us something we did not need. We found the team to be polite, punctual and efficient. We would definitely recommend their services to friends and family.

A great strength of Mark's work is that he takes the time to explain what is proposed to meet the customer's needs. Furthermore, he has the ability to meet these needs in practice. My large garden, badly overgrown with nettles and brambleshad been mistaken by the locals for a rubbish dump! Other professionals turned down the job due to access and parking problems; it was a relief when Mark said he'd do it! He and his colleague worked non-stop, kept me informed, made suggestions and did extra jobs which I had not expected to be included in the price. A tall tree was cut, shredded and disposed of, all the waste taken to the local council recycling plant and sorted to facilitate recycling. They also went the extra mile with little touches at no extra charge! They were very pleasant, always had a smile and gave me cost cutting tips for future future maintenance. At the end of each day's work, everything was cleaned and tidied up and left looking really nice. The work was completed within agreed budget and timescale. I felt Mark's Garden Services worked as if they were working for one of their relative! I really really recommend them without any reservations at all!

Mark did a great job, and worked hard all day long with his colleague. He was up for tackling the fish pond which other gardeners wouldn't touch. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Not the cheapest quote I got for my garden fence replacement job but the most professional approach, and the subsequent quote for late addition to the job was handled very promptly. Mark and team of two arrived on time and very were friendly and efficient. Job completed on schedule and subsequent small corrective work required (realign one of the 13 fence posts) was completed to my satisfaction without any fuss. Impressed with the quality of the work and materials used, and attention to detail. All in all would heartily recommend Mark and his team.

Within a day or two of contacting Mark he gave me a quote and made himself available to do the job when it was convenient for me. He and his assistant totally transformed my gardens within half a day by cutting back a hedge at the front which had become too big for me to manage and drastically pruning very overgrown shrubs in the back garden. I agree with the earlier comment about them cleaning up so well afterwards that you would hardly know they had been there if it wasn't for the improvements they had made. They were polite and courteous and I will definitely be using them again.

Just used Mark's Garden Services for the second time this year and yet again Mark and his assistant delivered a first class service. In just three days they dismantled two old sheds, lifted part of the patio, erected a new shed, installed decking and laid turf and a path. Now our garden looks like an advert from a gardening catalogue. These guys are gardening wizards!

Mark did a general garden clearance and tidy up for me initially. Before he started it looked like something out of a nature program. Mark worked extremely hard over a few days including bank holiday Monday and when he finished it was unrecognisable. He did not stop even when it was teaming down with rain. I can thoroughly recommend Mark. He is hard working, polite and also has some great suggestions for taking the garden forward. I now use Mark for all my garden maintenance.

Two conjoined ponds, one very deep in the middle, and into which a very large rock had fallen, both emptied, cleared, refilled and tidied around the edges as to vegetation not otherwise accessible. A nasty job done with great efficiency, cheerfulness and promptness and at a very reasonable rate.

Mark has done two jobs for me 1) a general garden tidy over 1.5 acres including creating and filling borders and installing lawn and 2) installation of a rabbit-proof fence of several hundred yards. He is hard working, approachable, diligent, flexible, strong and capable. When both jobs changed scope we rapidly agreed a new fair price. He arrived on time and worked a full day. He is recommendable without reservation for jobs including larger jobs and those involving hard physical work and I will be using him again.

We love Marks Garden Service because we asked for a clear up of our garden, removing shrubs, cutting trees and removing old trellis. The work was carried out promptly and we were really happy with it and the price. We will use Mark's Garden Service again.

I highly recommend this company. Competitive quotes, excellent customer service and brilliant work. I had fencing done last year together with a couple of concrete bases, one of which has my new summerhouse on it. At the moment the company are putting decking down for me. The work is always of very high quality and the lads that do the work are very courteous and hard working and always leave the place very tidy and clean at the end of each day. Will definitely be getting them to do more work for me in the future.

I have used Mark now for the past 3 years to keep my mother's garden tidy.
I live 100 miles from my mother who has become too old to keep her garden tidy. The garden is very big and in desperation I searched for a gardener on the internet. I came across Mark and gave him a call and agreed to meet him at the property to discuss what needed doing.
In a matter of a month he had turned the garden from an over grown jungle into a picture, and has continued to keep it that way ever since.
Mark and his team do everything from cutting back bushes,trimming trees, cutting grass, boarders, washing down patio and the list goes on.
He is now a regular visitor from March to November twice a month.

We had a stretch of fencing and a new shed erected in Jan 2012. We had good advice from Mark, careful workmanship from the crew - efficient service using good quality materials. End result is very pleasing, as good as we had hoped for.

I was delighted when, within a few hours of calling Mark because my fence had blown down, he came round to advise and quote. Surprisingly he was able to do the work only a day later, as it was a relatively small job. One very satisfied customer - especially as he gave sensible advice, cut the cost by reusing some materials, and finished the job very neatly and professionally. Although we had to wait 6 weeks for Mark to fit us in(a good sign)for to install our decking, it was all worthwhile. Marks quote was very competitive, but his professionalism, knowledge and advice during the survey for the works won the day. His team were here promptly on the appointed date and got to work immediately. They were very professional and although my job wasn't straightforward - raised deck - they went about the work without any problems. Their level of skill, workmanship, and knowledge was to be admired. They had all the materials, tools and equipment necessary to make for a smooth install. The job took 2 days and they were on site early and worked until after 6pm on first day. They cleaned up after themselves and on completion of the work left the garden clean and tidy, even hoovering up all the sawdust throughout the garden. Marks Garden Services have just renovated the front and back garden areas of my house. The house has been transformed with a combination of low maintenance areas and new lawn and borders and the advice giving by Mark and his team was great. They were friendly, hardworking and have delivered great results. They were also flexible and worked with us throughout the job to improve on my original specification. An area of our garden approximately 30'x 14 was unusable as it was and is now, thanks to Mark's Garden Services, a much transformed space with chequered paving, garden shed and a table area. A new fence completes the look and we are very satisfied with the result. The gardeners came when they said they would and when there was a delay (the shed was out of stock) we were kept informed and a mutually satisfactory date was arranged for when the work could be completed. If there was anything we weren't completely happy with it was quickly rectified.

I engaged Mark to repair a couple of fence posts in the back garden and also to tidy up and cut back both the front and rear gardens. His team was punctual, courteous, very tidy and the work was carried out to a high standard. Recommended!
