I have been a member of BNI Stansted for nearly a year. I can happily say I am renewing my membership in April. BNI is the only networking group I belong to that has brought me a steady flow of business by other members recommending my services to people and businesses they know. I visited BNI Gateway to Business this morning, 24th February 2011, for the first time. I found the group very lively and obviously enthusiastic about promoting their various businesses, and most importantly, helping each other to achieve their business goals. It was clear that BNI has a very successful structure and formula for measuring the amount of business generated, both in terms of the number of referrals and the actual £ value to the businesses.

I was welcomed as a visitor, and whilst one goal of the group is to increase membership, I was not pressurised in any way to join. In fact, I was told to visit at least once more before making my decision. I will be visiting again!

I have been a member of BNI Gateway to Business since October 2009 and thoroughly enjoy the friendly, professional atmosphere where the aim is to get to know each other well and give quality business referrals that result in profitable income. The biggest surprise has been the friendship and reliable suppliers that have also come with being a member. My own Business Coaching company has realised an incredible source of income from Gateway to Business and it is now part of my working week to give time to it and the members in it. I have the pleasurable opportunity to be Membership Co-ordinator for 6 months and, along with a team, we have worked to grow and develop the chapter and we are now the top BNI networking group in Essex!
