Situated in Spennymoor near Bishop Auckland, The Kilnrooms is a ceramic studio and coffee shop with an unique and exciting concept designed to bring out you and your children's artistic side. With something to offer all ages, it is the perfect venue for children's activities and parties.
At The Kilnrooms, we do much more than serve great coffee and food, sandwiches and cake - we are one of the very few ceramic studios in the UK that allows you and your children to create fantastic ceramic figurines and novelty items to take home and treasure. Situated in Spennymoor, Co. Durham (close to Bishop Auckland), we provide a fantastic entertainment venue for children's activities and parties!
A Unique Venue for Children's Activities and Parties
The Kilnroom's party area is separate from the coffee shop and has lots of activities for you and your children to enjoy. We can cater for up to 25 children or adults, where they can eat, listen to music and paint a fantastic clay model. If any children in your party have special dietary requirements, let us know and why not bring your own music along to personalise your day?

All paints are supplied (which are non toxic) and, when the design is completed, they are fired on the next lighting of the kiln.
Parents can watch the entertainment from our seating area or alternatively, join in with the children's activities and parties.
