The event, sponsored by aramark, will take place on Wednesday, 24 April at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens from 6pm onwards.

The significance of the festival involves how the tenth Guru of the Sikhs introduced the ‘Order of the Pure Ones’, as well as honouring the work of farmers and paying tribute to God for food and praying for future prosperity.

Kash (pictured) will share the story of his incredible rise from the tough inner-city streets of Birmingham to world fame and domination.

He is a four-time kickboxing champion, world amateur kick boxing champion, a BBC Sports hall of famer, and founder of the International Freestyle Association (IFA) Kickboxing Club,

His determination to rise above and not be defined by his environment and tragedies that beset his early years has inspired a multitude of students, fans and professional athletes alike.

The 6’ 3” former champion is now a kickboxing coach and an ambassador of Martial Arts to the disaffected youth of inner cities around the world.

Delegates are encouraged to join the event to raise awareness of business profiles, meet potential business prospects, develop existing relationships and connecting with key influencers from the region while enjoying an authentic Indian cuisine.

The event is free for ABCC members (up to two delegates per business). Tickets cost £60 plus VAT for non-members.

Speaking about the event, ABCC president Omar Rashid said: “To have a former Kickboxing World Champion and such a locally recognised community figure as our speaker is absolutely fantastic and something I am truly looking forward to.”

Sponsorships opportunities and exhibition stands are also available at the event. Contact events@birmingham-chamber.com for more information.
