We had our first meal here tonight & the food was good, although the service a bit slow. However, our night was spoilt when they refused to honour the invitations book offer which they advertise offering 2 for 1 in the 2011/12 book. Even though we mentioned when booking the offer, checked when ordering & produced a valid card on payment, they said they had stopped advertising in this years invitations book - which they haven't! Manager refused to talk to us about it - they are advertising falsely in the invitations book 2011/12. We won't be returning.

It might be bit mean to Bearwood but I didn't expect to find such a great place here. The concept has been carried off to perfection , a sophisticated relaxed cosmopolitan niche that is neither outrageously priced nor pretentious, with a menu sufficient to tempt all tastes without bewildering you. Very, very good value.

The food is delicious we have tried a selection of starters and mains over the course of several visits and never been disappointed. Waiting staff are friendly and courteous. The only small criticism is I would like to see more Caribbean influence in the main courses.
