Barbeque Salmon Recipe

I'll be honest I'm not much of a cook but I found the most amazing recipe for Salmon that works fantastic on the barbeque or the grill. I have just moved from the U.S.A and they have mastered the art of the grill (that's American for barbeque) we ate outdoors for 6 months of the year so I had to get creative.

I promise you'll love this recipe, it's really easy and I have to thank my friend Donna from Indiana for introducing me to it. I cooked it for a dinner party and it went down a storm (we don't' say that in England just in case it rains)!!

5 minutes preparation

1/2 cup    =     4fl. oz  Soy Sauce (any brand)

2/3 cup    =   16fl. oz  Olive oil

1/2 cup    =     4 oz     Brown sugar

If you like garlic you can add 2 cloves, minced

  • Mix the ingredients together in a bowl
  • Marinate the salmon steaks for a few hours in the fridge.
  • Wrap the salmon in foil (parcel) and place on the barbecue to cook
  • unwrap them near the end of cooking to finish off!

It's amazing! my kids don't like salmon but love this recipe

If you don't fancy cooking yourself but would love to host a great barbeque or summer dinner party for business or pleasure I know a great lady called Jacqui who owns Classic Catering and I hear they do a mean pig roast and specialise in family or business barbeques. Jacqui or Joanne will be happy to help you out maybe give them a call on 0121 695 9200
