Known as the most successful fundraising and one-day charity event in the county the Bicester and Finmere Horse and Dog show will once again be held at the showground beside the Bicester-Buckingham Road on the A4421 on Saturday 9th July 2005.
Celebrating its 45th year, the show has grown to what is now one of the most successful and sizeable one day events of its type and provides a great family day out for everyone. With HRH The Duke of Edinburgh as its patron and supported by many organisations and individuals alike from the local area and further a field, thousands of pounds are raised for the English Paraplegic Sports Association and Spinal Research Charities that the event supports.
Amongst other things, the show attracts Top UK riders from the show jumping world who will be competing for places at the Horse of the Year Show. There is also the famous Racing jockeys high jump competition, where jockeys swap mounts for a thrilling show jumping challenge - an event not to be missed!
Other attractions include the companion dog show, a vintage vehicle display, childrens amusements plus trade stands, stalls and sideshows. Benefits of membership include a superb luncheon and ringside marquee access.
Admission is free for children and 5 pounds per adult, which includes parking.
The fun starts at 9am.
