Dressing the Tudors: the Tudor Tailor
Ninya and Jane, authors of The Tudor Tailor: Reconstructing 16th century dress, invite you to join them at the court of Elizabeth I where Lady Mary Talbot prepares to attend a night of dancing and entertainment.
See the transformation from informal undress to full court dress and witness the many layers of clothing and careful arranging required to achieve the extreme fashions favoured by late 16th century courtiers.
There are opportunities for close inspection of the reconstructed garments and detailed discussion of any matters arising - it's not often you see a Tudor lady in her underwear!
