I sent my son to this school a year ago as I was worried that he was turning into a wallflower. He has gained so much from attending, not just more confidence but so many new friends. Every term the group put on a little performance for parents, these have all been delightful, he's speech has improved due to the drama element in the class and he loves the street dance part, he comes home from classes and can't wait to show me his new moves! I can't recommend these classes enough!
I'm delighted to see All the Arts on here! My son & daughter have been attending for a year now and they can't get enough. What I love about the classes is they are great for kids who just want to let off some steam and have fun (my son) but also excellent for kids who are serious young performers and want expert tuition with exams and big shows (my daughter) I have tried several local schools now, but All the Arts is hands down the best for quality of teachers, price and opportunities (so many of the pupils get the chance to do TV adverts, shows and film shoots)Big thanks to ATA for being a cut above the rest!
My Little boy joined this class last year and is still crazy about it. At the end of every term he performs in a fully costumed show on stage, so far he has been a Spider man, a Gingerbread man, a caterpillar, a Bee and a pop star! The classes have really helped with both his speech & his confidence and we love coming to watch him having so much fun on stage. All the Arts is a good traditional school with a strong emphasis on performance and my son just loves it, his confidence has really increased.Edit
All the Arts has been amazing for my daughter! The classes are really affordable and end of term shows are free and of an excellent standard! The school always provide costumes which saves parents money. This makes the whole thing affordable for my husband and I as there are no 'hidden extra's'My teenager comes out smiling each week and has made lots of friends as well as gaining in confidence. Thank you to the whole staff team, you are really inspiring teachers whom my daughter looks up to and respects.
I was delighted to see All the Arts on here! My son started this group a few terms ago and I must say that having taken him to a few groups, All the Arts is a cut above the rest. For a start there are loads of boys (Something my son loves) In fact I have never seen so many boys at a theatre school. secondly the teachers are real professionals and his confidence seems to have really improved at school. The staff work really hard to ensure that all the kids attending are having a good time and feel comfortable. Best of all the End of term shows are free!! (well just a £1 donation for costumes) this really is unique as most groups charge a fortune for costumes and end of term performances.
A group of local young performers from All the Arts Theatre School ages 5-16yrs have won the kent regional semi finals of Dance for life. The national event is held to raise money for the British Red Cross and took place at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford. Pupils from All the Arts Theatre school based in New Eltham, Bromley and Bexley competed against six other local schools to win a place in the final which will be held at the o2 on Sunday 18th July.Former Brookside actress Lucy Morgans who is principal of the schools said ' We entered the competition for a fun experience for our pupils whilst raising money for a good cause, we were astounded to win first place in BOTH the junior and senior categories! It is quite rare that this happens and we are all extremely proud of our children. Our pupils have been raising money for the red cross by dancing in local performances. Our senior dance celebrated the Red cross's work abroad in Japan during Hiroshima and our junior group danced with collection buckets highlighting the need for people to keep donating. To win a place in the final is a huge honour and we will be rehearsing lots leading up to the event on the 18th.Teenagers receive such bad press now a days and yet ours come to classes every week and have worked tirelessly to raise money for a good cause whilst performing'For tickets to grand final please visit www.theo2.co.uk/indigo2/event/dance-for-lifeFor further information on All the Arts Theatre School visit www.allthearts.co.uk
My daughter has attended All the Arts for the last four years. She used to be a shy and nervous child, but thanks to the dedicated team at this theatre school she has blossomed into a bubbly and confident young girl. The teachers are exceptional and my daughter has been offered so many opportunities to perform in shows she really has the time of her life at the classes. I know that several group members have taken big roles in TV shows and in the West end too, but what makes it so worthwhile for me is seeing my daughter come out of her shell. A big thanks to everyone al All the Arts.
Two 11 year old local Bexley boys have been selected from hundreds of children to perform with The English National Opera's production at The London Coliseum. Mitchell Stokes age 11 and Nathan Attard age 11 will be performing in 'Duke Bluebeard's Castle and The Rite of Spring' in October. The boys both attend All the Arts theatre School in Bexley Village which meets once a week at St Mary's Church Hall.Former Brookside actress Lucy Morgans who set up the school six years ago is delighted ' I cannot believe that two of our boys have been chosed to perform with such a presigious company in the West End!, we sent the boys along to gain some experience, and we could not believe it when both of them were offered a part, children get such bad press these days, but these boys are so dedicated to their classes and to making a success of their lives, they are a real pleaure to teach!'
I came across this website and saw my daughters dancing school on here and had to write a quick comment. All the Arts and the team that run it are amazing! The school is professionally run and brilliant value for money especially in the current climate, and though the classes are cheap the teachers are really experienced (not 17 year old dance students like at other schools we have visited in the past) My daughter took part in a performance at The Royal Albert Hall that was open to all pupils at the school and my husband and I have never been so proud, the kid dancing and singing was fantastic! This school is definitley worth looking up!
My 11 year old son has been attending All the Arts since April 2007 and absolutely loves it. Lucy and all the staff are truly professional and so approachable and friendly. My son has done extremely well in recent dance and drama exams and has taken part in festivals and shows. He has auditioned for different parts and will soon be appearing in Scrooge at the Bob Hope Theatre. This will be his third theatre performance and his confidence and ability has gone from strength to strength. The All the Arts end of term show this summer was brilliant and really brought a tear to my eye! The kids are just fantastic and they all work together as a great team. If your child is interested in theatre school you need look nowhere else but All The Arts.
My son attends All the Arts at Chislehurst. He always comes home really excited about his classes, he speaks so highly of all the teachers and he has now taken two drama and dance exams and been awarded top marks for both. I am really pleased he has found a class outside of school where he has made many new friends and is still enthusiastic about going a year on!
My two daughters joined All The Arts Theatre School, shortly after it opened in 2003. They were aged 4 and 5 years old, and are now nearly 9 and 10. So have been with them for five years. I have watched All The Arts grow like my children. Lucy and all the teachers are fantastic role models for young children. Both my daughters have enjoyed the weekly classes and end of term performances, they have been to the summer school for the last 3 years. They have entered numerous exams, festivals and young performers shows in The West End, and are also members of the casting agency which All The Arts run, and have been to many auditions and performed in professional shows. All of this is thanks to the time and dedication of all the teachers. My daughters have developed in to extremely self confident children and I owe a huge thanks to All The Arts for this. I always know that my children are safe and looked after when they are in their care. I have recommended many parents to All The Arts, and haven't ever had
My son and daughter both attend the Bexley Centre and have done for the last three years. The classes are fantastic and the children are given so many opportunities to perform, my two have appeared at Her Majesties Theatre in the West End, at Danson, Bromley and Beckenham festivals as well as a show at Bexley at the end of every term. One of the boys in my daughters class has recently won a main part in a childrenʼs BBC series called MI High. I canʼt fault the teachers and my kids canʼt wait to get to their class each week and whats more the classses donʼt cost the earth either! I would recommend All the Arts to any one!
My daughter attends the New Eltham class and has done so now for about 2 years. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the class. She has grown in confidence so much. Lucy is a fantastic teacher - in fact everyone who helps at All the Arts is so friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend All the Arts Theatre School to children of all ages.
