CHERRY BURTON ARTS is to host the opening night of Beverley Folk Festival’s Acoustic Treasures Tour at The Village Hall, Main St, Cherry Burton near Beverley on Saturday 18 APRIL at 8pm.
Those at the popular village venue can experience the rock-tinged folky sounds of top Hull band Circus Envy, the blistering guitars of Farino and the bittersweet love songs of Jess Bannister. Add to this the music of the highly promising Paul Liddell and Steph Frasor & Phil Simpson - and there is an impressive line-up by any standards
Jayne Scott organiser of Cherry Burton Arts said “I can’t believe we’ve got so many great performers together on one night – there are some that have played here before and some new faces too which we’ve heard are excellent. We feel quite proud too that all of these acts are essentially local too.”
Each concert has a varying line-up with a common thread- all the participating musicians will be appearing at the festival this year. Full details can be found on the festival website www.beverleyfestival.com
