The Beverley Festival - Celebrating 26 Years in 2009
19th to 21st June 2009
Located at the Beverley Leisure Complex with the addition of a new marquee this year, the festival will offer lots of fantastic music, dance, comdey and spoken word. 16 hours of entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday, and 8 hours on Friday!
There will be favourites such as the 'Late Night Festival Club' & 'Teenage Cancer Trust' sessions.
Also for 2009, our first Americana Mini Festival featuring artists from the USA and UK.

Friday 19th June - Billy Bragg
Saturday 20th June - Summer Solstice Party Night with the Peatbog Faeries, Lonnie Donegan Band featuring Peter Donegan and The UK's only Acoustic Ska band - Skavolution
Sunday 21st June - Seth Lakeman
This year promises to cement its place as one of the Top 100 Festivals in the Country, as stated by The Sunday Times. With the festival attracting all ages and interest, it will also be playing host to the Archbishop of York on Sunday 21st, who will be visiting to soak up the atmosphere and meet festival organisers, artists and visitors to the event, before heading to St Nicholas Church close-by.
Season tickets for the Festival Village for the weekend admit purchasers to 40 hours of entertainment for just £10 or day tickets £5 or £3.50 on Friday. Real value for money!
