The historic North Mill on the River Derwent here in Belper is one of the oldest surviving examples of industrialised water-powered cotton spinning mills in the world.
There a numerous popular events held during the year at Belper North Mill. It takes an army of volunteers to pull it all together and they are constantly on the look out for extra volunteers prepared to get involved and help out at the mill.
