Jayne and the team are very welcoming and offer some of the most excellent stylists in the area. I have been going to Jane's from the start of her business she rescued an extreamly bad hair cut form another ahirdressing salon. I have been ever greatful and never disapointed in the service she gives.

The strand is a fantastic hairdressers, quality at competitive prices and not over budget. I have recently started going with my two daughters and I have every confidence in Jayne and her staff. I have had a few bad hair experiences in my time but Jayne always asks what you want and will tell you if it will not suit your hair type instead of just ploughing ahead. Having just had a "milestone" birthday, I felt old and dowdy, so I contacted my regular hairdresser, Jayne at The Strand, and we decided I would have a makeover. Jayne has done me proud and now I feel a million dollars and ready to face the world again. Thank you Jayne.

the salon is in an excellent position, light trendy and very friendly!! You dont feel like your hair is styled in a rush and they take time and care. I would highly recommend the salon to anyone whos thinking of a change of salon or new to the area its fantastic!!!

I have been to lots of different salons but have now been going to The Strand for the last 3 years. Everyone there is so friendly and you really feel welcome. I am really pleased with the service I get there and would recommend them to anyone.

The Strand always has a nice friendly atmosphere, caters for all ages and styles. I have been having my hair styled by Sally for some time now and its never looked better.

I have been going to the Strand since we moved to Belper 2 years ago and my son had recently started having Kelly style his hair too. The staff are all very friendly and professional. They always try to fit us in when it suits us and there is always a warm welcome and a cup of coffee to relax with.

All the staff at the salon are so cheery and friendly. You get excellent service from them. I particularly like the fact that Jayne (the manageress) will make sure that you are the only one being seen to at any one time rather than doing 3 or 4 people at the same time. I also love the little biccies we get with our coffees! :)

Jayne has been doing my hair for over 10 years now since her days at Keith Hall in Ripley and I would'nt go anywhere else. The staff are very professional and friendly and the salon is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The Strand has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. I really look forward to my visits as I know I can relax and have some "me time"!

What a great service you get when you visit Jayne and her hair stylists.'The Strand' saloon has just been re-furbished and is a very trendy place indeed. There is always a warm welcome and lots of happy laughter. Jayne takes great care in the professional service she offers but at the same time you come away feeling on top of the world. I can speak from experience as Jayne has been styling my hair for the last 6 years and I love it.

Jayne and her staff are always friendly and professional and despite the rotten weather at the start of January, they never failed to open up to look after their clients. Call in for some advice, you will not regret it.

I found The Strand when I moved to Belper in 2003 and what a find! Jayne has got to know my hair and the way I like it cut and any visit to this salon is a lovely experience. Now that Angie is back from France, the full "A TEAM" are together again. Give it a try, I guarantee you will enjoy the experience.

After being overwhelmed with the choice of hairdressers within Belper, I did a google search and opted to try out ʼThe Strandʼ. Iʼve now been twice (which is a record for me!) and have been really pleased with the service and hair cut on both occassions.I now consider myself ʼa regularʼ and would definatley recommend this place! I came from Ripley Keith Halls to follow Jane to her new salon. 13 years on Iʼm still very happy with the service I receive, all the staff are friendly and the prices are unbeatable. ive been going to lill for a couple of years now and when she moved tothe strand just before xmas i followed her.a superb stylist id reccomend lill to anyone and i must say its one of the friendliest and professional salons ive ever been to.everyone is lovely.its the little things that make the differance like the pot of tea and biscuit!!!and advice when ufancy a change.paula britland.

The staff always have a warm, friendly greeting and a smile! Nothing is to much trouble for any of the girls there.

The staff don`t just cut hair they also give you advise if you want a change.The staff are very polite and proffesional. Excellent Service from the very first phone call!

Being new to Belper I called several hairdressers on King Street (I chose King Street because of the easy parking!). Some of those first conversations were downright painful but I was so impressed by my discussion with Lil at The Strand I made my first appointment there.

I was at ease immediately I arrived, and entertained by the friendly salon banter throughout my appointment. Not only that, with only the barest explanation of what I wanted Lil gave me the best haircut Iʼve had in two years!

I wonʼt be calling any other hairdressers now...

i visited The Strand for the first time this week. It was near easy and free parking so a dream to get to.
I was made to feel very welcome, provided with a pot of tea when i walked in and a good thorough consultation my stylist Lil. The Strand is a very friendly and welcoming place with very professional and attentive staff.
Lil is a very lovely young lady, who makes everyone feel at ease. She is an exceptional stylist and i would recommend a visit to Lil and her colleagues any time. Well done The Strand!!

from the moment i walked into the salon the customer service was of a high quality, very freindly and welcoming with a service of tea and coffee regualy provided!
my appointment was made with a young lady called lil, as i am quite a shy person i was a little nervous with going into a new salon but i was made to feel relaxed, just how it should be when your being pampered. i was talked through what colour and style i really wanted!
i now have a glossy brunette colour and a layered cut that i love, i am now a regular customer and would recomend to anyone who is a little unsure about hairdressers as i was.
