We have a client who we are designing a brochure for. We know them very well and were surprised when they asked us if they could they just have the design and artwork because they had found a 'good deal' on the print from an online printing chain whose name you’ll recognise from the reverse of free low quality business cards. I checked out the print offer the client had found and, sure enough on the face of it, it was attractive. But our client has a reputation to manage and I am wary of them ending up with something tacky. So I was interested to come across this article that exposed a supposedly free offer:
