Are you thinking about losing weight? Want to be thinner for Christmas?
Normally at about this time of year I start looking at slinky little outfits to wear to Christmas parties. Try them on and wish I'd gone easy on all that thickly buttered toast recently. Know the feeling? We all beat ourselves up when it comes to diet and weight loss.
There is good news and bad news . . . The bad news is, that unless you started thinking about managing your weight a while ago you are not actually going to be stick thin in time for Christmas. The good news is that it is not too late to do something, and if you have quite a lot of extra weight, say 3 stone, the even better news is that we have found Jayne Lambert. She specialises in helping people with lots of kilos to lose, and has a really great approach - check out Jayne's info
In my case I have cut down dramatically on all that butter and am going easy on saturated fat. I am also taking more exercise. A couple friends and I set ourselves a challenge to lose some weight and support each other along the way. One of the friends, he'll remain nameless, is trying to lose lots of weight but is not succeeding - curries, raclette (!) and entertaining clients with a few beers keep getting in the way. I seriously think he would benefit from seeing Jayne and joining a more knowledgeable support group. If only he were nearer Belper to see Jayne and not far away in London.
