The Big Knitting and Hand Weaving session sounds lovely. It is part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Discovery Days - a series of events and activities which are taking place between 25 October and 2 November 2009. This is at Strutts North Mill, Belper DE56 1YD from 2 - 4pm on 25th October.
I have been meaning to take up knitting again, but it must be about 20 years since I last did any.
