Just experienced the Zen's new Teppanyaki service and it was excellent! - I have always been a big fan of the Zen as my wife & I enjoy Japanese cooking but this new service has to be experienced. Great value for money! Tell em I sent you!

My wife & I have eaten Japanese food around the world and this restaurant is one of the best anywhere. The service is excellent and reasonably priced for what you get. There are cheaper places in Belfast but no where near as good. You will be most pleased, if not ask for Alex or Eddie. Tell them Paul & Maxine sent you!

I love Zen. So its not quite as fancy as it once was on opening, and the competition is stiffer. However the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, menu extensive and suits all tastes and a great drinks menu too. Great place to entertain a group of mixed tastes and ages and ensure a good evening is had by all.

I always have wonderful nights in Zen, the service, food, deco, everything is fatastic!!! I just do not understand you guy, the tatami is a party of Japanese cultrue, I do not think you can experence it in any other restaurant at all.
By the way Harbour veiw is much more expensive than zen but nothing special at all. I have recommanded zen to all my friends and they absolutely love it. zen definitely is my favour restaurant to go.

I didnʼt have a bad experience at Zen per se. I just donʼt know what all the fuss is about. The food was nice, not mind-blowing. The surroundings were okay, not exceptional. It takes more than low-lighting, and a lighted floor to impress me - sorry! We sat in the private cubicles upstairs - with no back support my back was aching by the end. The service was mediocre too. The only thing that was above average was the price. I wouldnʼt say donʼt go, but I wonʼt be back. For good Japanese food try the Harbour View instead.

This restaurant is so good I take all my visitors there to share the experience. Besides the fact that the food from the extensive menu is superb - the ambience, staff, cocktails, sound system and decor are also outstanding and make Zen Restaurant not just a place to eat, but a night out in itself.
