Welcome to Fat Buddha, Belfast’s newest Asian Fusion restaurant. Developed with the traditional Japanese Robata Grill as its centre-piece, Fat Buddha’s design, cuisine, drinks, and service sets it firmly apart from all other traditional Asian based Chinese restaurants in the city.
Robata Grill is an age-old method of cooking in Japan, founded thousands of years ago, in the age of the Samurai. Still conducted today in modern Tokyo, Kyoto, and other Japanese cities, it is done over an open fire, familiar to most of us in Belfast through the common use of charcoal barbeque.
At Fat Buddha restaurant, we have used this cooking method as our feature piece of food theatre, in preparing succulent meat, seafood and vegetables dishes to enhance your dining experience, and thoroughly enjoy the specacle in the middle of
our restaurant.
Our menu is based on Asia-fusion, which brings a host of ingredients, flavours and preparation methods to many dishes which will have familiar basic ingredients to you, but have a finished look and taste which will be totally fresh and new.
Our drinks menu in the restaurant is full of traditional wines and spirits but with many new twists to commonly known cocktails. We want to ensure you enjoy our high-design, from atmosphere to environment & cuisine.
