15 years ago people may have rightly complained that there was nothing to do in Belfast during the summer...but that has all changed. There are tons of festivals, entertainments and events happening all over Belfast & beyond.
This blog will look at some of the remaining children's activities and parties that can provide the whole family with things to do before the kids go back to school.
W5 at the Odyssey has 2 really cool events happening right up to 5th September. First one is Nature Quest which features one of the most modern exhibits W5 has ever offered - the ‘iwall’. The iwall is a large interactive screen which allows the visitor to access hundreds of photographs, exploring Northern Ireland habitats and the animals and plants that live here.
Second one is Animated Adventures. This exhibition, created by W5, in partnership with Aardman Animations and demonstrates how the Oscar-winning film “Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit” was made; from the initial concept to the final film. It features two of the most popular animated characters in the UK, Wallace and Gromit, and tells of their adventures while protecting some prize-winning vegetables.
