I had a very interesting meeting with Sue Bedford from PULSE HEALTH SCREENING this week. Sue is a qualified nurse with many years experience and she provides a great service for small businesses who don't currently provide health insurance to their staff.

One of Sue's team will come to your shop office or factory and run a series of heath checks on your staff ranging from full health screening including cardio vascular screening through to pre-exercise checks, checks are undertaken by qualified nurses using the latest technology.

The thing that I hadn't realised is that for businesses providing Sue's services to their staff the cost can be written off against tax! so they are in effect free for all you business owners to provide!!!

Needless to say I have my own screening booked for the week after next on the 26th January..... slightly nervous but I'll let you know how it goes.

In the meantime before the PULSE HEALTH SCREENING feature goes up on thebestofbedford, (yes they are new business members!) you can contact Sue on 01234 840089 and enquiries@pulsescreening.co.uk.

Hi there, I'm just about to have my health screening with Sue Bedford of Pulse Health Screening.... I think I'm fairly fit but quite nervous just the same! I'll let you know how it goes in a little while. Tom report abuse...

Well, I wish I could say that I came through the health screening with flying colours, but unfortunately not. I guess like quite a few men (and women for that matter) of my age (48) my blood pressure is higher than it should be, and I have been firmly advised to go onto vitamin supplements, take more exercise than I do currently and eat more healthy fruit & veg and less of the old vino. (and Sue Bedford corrected my assertion that a nice bottle of red should count as at least 3 of my 5 a day!) Needless to say whilst I don't like having high blood pressure, I now know about it and can take the appropriate action whereas before hand I was in blissful ignorance. Anyway - I'm very glad I have had the screening and if you want to book Sue up to have a screening done yourself you can contact her on 01234 840089 and enquiries@pulsescreening.co.uk. report abuse...
