A big 'well done' to our new mayor Dave Hodgson for providing us with a weeks worth of free parking in the run up to Christmas!
What an inspired idea - in one go Dave offers a £5 to £10 helping hand to everyone visiting Bedford to do their Christmas shopping, at the same time helping the shop keepers and traders by encouraging people to get out and do their shopping a bit earlier than usual and not leave it to the last minute!
So Dave get's a big thumbs up from thebestofbedford! and we look forward to seeing what else 'Magic Dave' may have up his sleeve for us this Christmas!
