The Children's Trust is a national charity and is the leading authority on brain injury in the UK. Working from a base in Tadworth, The Children's Trust offers a combination of services to children throughout the UK including:
Residential care
Short breaks
Rehabilitation for children with acquired brain injury
Transitional care between hospital and home
Outreach - caring for children in their own home
The Children's Trust school for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties
The Children Trust is at the cutting edge of development and is constantly striving to improve the lives of the children in its care. Nowhere else in the world offers the same extensive treatment programs for children who have experienced a brain injury. No other body has created and developed a teaching program for severely disabled children that works in parallel with the current state school curriculum. It truly is a unique place but whilst it helps hundreds of children and their family's year on year, there are more than 3000 children injured each year. The Children's Trust therefore is looking to help even more children with the help and support of volunteers and fundraisers and in particular, with assistance from local businesses.
