Welcome to The Black Horse at Fulmer

A traditional village pub which offers a warm welcome in the heart of Fulmer, near Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield

The Black Horse public house is a real old village pub near Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross which offers good choice of beers and a wide range of food

The Black Horse Pub was the first winner of the "Heart of the Community Award" sponsored by Scottish and Newcastle in 2006 and it is easy to see why this pub was chosen!

The 350 year-old pub has a frendly and welcoming atmosphere and has been run for the past 6 years by Brendan and Kay Keane who have over 25 years experience in the pub trade. The pub has three cosy bars and a restaurant which seats 35 people.

The pub has three beers available in the bar - two regular beers and one guest or seasonal beer plus chilled lagers and a range of other drinks.

The pub's restaurant serves a wide range of different foods with a specials board which changes daily. Every Sunday there is a traditional roast lunch. Booking is advised for the restaurant. A more traditional pub menu is available in the bar.

The Black Horse at Fulmer is a very family friendly pub - at lunchtimes there is always a specific children's menu available, the beer garden has a well-equipped play area and there is an aviary housing rabbits as well as birds rescued by the RSPCA!

The pub is in the middle of lovely countryside and is on the Beeches Way Walk. It is a popular stopping place for both walkers and cyclists from Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and the surrounding area.

The Black Horse at Fulmer is a pub which really is at the heart of the village with numerous benefit nights for local clubs, societies and charities as well as being closely involved in all the village activities. The pub also hosts many of its patron's special occasions such as birthdays, christenings and funerals. In recent years the pub and its clientele have raised about £20,000 each year for causes important to the local community.

The Black Horse at Fulmer is open seven days a week.

  • The pub is open all day at weekends
  • Weekdays 11-3 and 5.30-11
