Burnham Warehouse Removals and Storage offers a complete service for domestic and commercial removals and storage. No job is too large or too small and our range of services are designed to ensure you have a hassle free move whether you are moving across the road, across the UK or across Europe!
Removals
When you first contact Burnham Warehouse Removals and Storage we will arrange an appointment to come and visit you at your property and establish what you need e.g. whether furniture needs to be dismantled and reassembled, how many porters are needed and what size and number of vehicles will be required and access to each of the properties involved.
For business moves, we can complete your move over a weekend or at a time to suit you in order to minimise disruption to your business.
Packing
Burnham Warehouse Removals and Storage offers a very competitively priced packing service and usually a whole house can be packed in a day. We specialise in packing valuable antiques, artwork and artefacts. We also have the equipment to move upright and Baby Grand pianos.
We always take timed and dated photographs and will advise you of any visible signs of damage to items before we pack away. All your goods will be fully insured against breakages (up to £20,000 per truck) and to date we have not had to claim as our porters have never broken anything! We can also arrange insurance for higher value items if you would like us to.
Don't forget, it's not just the house. Your packing will include items from the:

- Garden (furniture and container plants)
- Garden ornaments

- Greenhouses
- Loft
- Outbuildings
- Summer houses
Burnham's packing service compares favourably against doing it yourself which usually starts a few weeks before the move and continues until the day of the move! You would also need to cover the items on your own insurance. If however, you decide to pack yourself, our friendly, courteous staff are always on hand with advice on the best way to ensure your items are packed safely and securely.
Storage
Burnham offers a storage service suitable for both long and short term storage for either domestic and commercial clients. Items are stored in a crates measuring 250 cubic feet (a typical 3 bedroom house will fit into 3-4 crates); each crate has an unique identification number.
An example of long term storage includes the statutory requirement for businesses to store records for 6 years. So you can archive your records safe in the knowledge that they are accessible when you need them
An example of short term storage occurred when a printing company found a fault in their warehouse floor. We helped them to move racks of paper stock into our storage area and once the repairs had been completed we moved the racks back into the warehouse to their original positions.

Hi David, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team who came to help myself and my husband move house this weekend just gone. You were so efficient and quick I couldnât believe it and at the same time you were so careful and considerate. Everything was wrapped and packed and labelled which has meant that I have nearly unpacked (in one day) and everything is just as it was in my old property. Worth every penny!! I would like to say again what a fantastic job you, David and his team have done for us, particularly with the extra hassle of having an extra stop at the storage facility. The guys worked really hard on both days and we were both very please and impressed by the service provided by all concerned. Without doubt the whole experience was well above expectation and we would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.
We have been extremely pleased with both the quality and the value of the service (removal, storage delivery and "down-the-street move" of Amanda's stuff). Nothing at all was damaged, not even any part of the house which was redecorated from top to bottom in the days leading up to the move (indeed the painter only finished the day before the move). With Amanda being 35 weeks pregnant, a stress-free move was exactly what we needed. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone. All the best!

I didnât know these guys before, however they did a great job. The best thing about them was the staff themselves. Even at the end of a very long day, every request was met with the same positive approach and response â âyes, no problemâ, and a smile. On top of that, they were very competitively priced and not a single thing was damaged in any way.

We used Burnham Removal the last time we moved. Dave and his team are extremely professional, yet ever so polite and friendly. They accommodated all my requests with a smile, and even went that extra bit to help us. The guys arrived exactly on time.
