Drawing from the Salon’s of the 18th century, three women artists will fill the light washed stone Walcot Chapel with a rich combination of art, sculpture, music and conversation – all against the backdrop of the funky artisan quarter of Bath.
They invite you to relax amidst the art, rugs and palms bathed in May sunshine streaming through gothic windows.
On display will be original oils, mixed media, water colours, sculpture and prints to purchase or commission.
To enliven the senses there will be live music, and food/drink to refresh.
Catherine Beale is a watercolourist who paints portraits and layered landscapes to commission and exhibition throughout South West England. Last year she was selected for the prestigious Holborne Portrait Prize Exhibition and for the Bath
Society of Artists Summer Exhibition. This year - the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour 2011 Annual Exhibition. She has held successful solo shows in Singapore and Malaysia where she lived for eleven years. www.catherinebeale.com
Emma Rose specialises in contemporary, abstract and landscape mixed-media painting with an emphasis on colour, texture and luminosity. Emma produces highly original paintings, works to commission, exhibits, curates, runs a studio

Madeleine Shaw attended the City of Guilds London Art School. While living in Australia she developed her work and curated a large multi-media exhibition for women artists exploring the female deity. Madeleine’s oils, sculpture and prints return to the Walcot Chapel, following her sell-out show there 2 years ago. Her beautiful son attends St Christopher’s School. mad4shaw@gmail.com
St Christopher’s School is a residential school based on the curative educational principles of Rudolf Steiner. The children are aged from 5-19, and many have not only severe/complex learning difficulties, but also language/communication disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder. They do breathtaking work.

The Mile-Highs will be filling the chapel with tunes on Saturday 21st 1-3pm. Rosie Miles is a funky jazz singer based in Mells, who creates her own highly original lyrics/music,accompanied by her multi-talented husband on guitar.
