I have been a Bath resident for over 35 years and, in that time I have lived in four different houses and used many city centre estate agents. I have just completed a successful house sale and move with Madison Oakley. The service I have received from the team there has been nothing short of exceptional. In particular, Carey Gilliland, who has acted for me, has been quite simply AMAZING! Always punctual, good humoured, courteous and professional. It has been a pleasure to deal with him and I am so glad that I chose Madison Oakley rather than a city centre agent. His marketing skills, particularly on the internet, are second to none. Not only has he facilitated my house sale through difficult circumstances and numerous “let downs” but he has also helped me enormously in negotiating the purchase of another property – right up to completion, on moving day and beyond. Here are the key differences - BUYING: NEAs - showed us properties lacking our requirements MO - showed us only properties with all our requirements SELLING: NEAs - used their website, plus local print ads every fortnight MO - used 4 electronic media, plus local print ads weekly NEAs - promised multiple Bath offices would market our flat...but in reality, only after the âlisting officeâ exhausted all its own âregistered buyersâ MO - marketed through all offices immediately NEAs - our emails/calls were accessible only by our agent, none of his colleagues MO - all business communications accessible to all agents NEAs - priced above mkt â no offers in 12 wks MO - priced on mkt â offer within fortnight Buying or selling, donât waste your time or your money using a ânationalâ estate agent â use only Madison Oakley!
Will at Madison Oakley was nothing short of perfect - he arranged lots of viewings (always providing feedback immediately afterwards) and gave me a weekly call to update on various other aspects of progress. Most of the big agents charge twice as much money and deliver half the customer service of Madison Oakley. If I ever need to sell a property in Bath or the surrounding area again, this is the agent I will choose to handle it for me.
