As we are both from catering backgrounds, it takes a lot to impress us and you guys did this by the bucket load!
The layout of the room was to die for... Each little detail we had discussed had been auctioned, right down to the bubbles being in the right place.
Our starter was divine, so light and just what we needed. Cisco had the pate, and he is very particular about pate, his dad’s pate is his favourite, since his dad retired and closed his restaurant two years ago we have had one block of pate in our freezer since then and he won’t eat it. However, on the day he turned to me and said, “this is just like dad’s” - so high praise indeed!
Our main course was mouth watering, the veg was constantly hot, which is a pet hate of mine, I’m not too sure if the portion was too big of if my dress was too tight but I couldn’t finish all of my main. I was worried that the portions would be too small, as we had some big men to fill!
And dessert, well this finished the meal nicely. Light, fresh and melt in the mouth!!
Steve our brother in law who did MOC had a really fun day and really enjoyed his role. I hope he got everything right!! I am so pleased we asked him as it was his way of getting involved.
The chefs were brilliant and I did go and thank them, being from the kitchen myself I know how well a thank you goes down. Cisco went to thank all the front of house staff as this is his domain; he was so impressed with them. But huge thanks need to go to Adrian, he certainly knows his stuff and can manage staff, guests, brides, grooms, kids and food all in one go with ease! He certainly is worth every penny he earns and is a credit to Dine with Style!
So again, thank you very much for making our day go with not one problem. We didn’t want a fussy day, we wanted everyone to be relaxed, enjoy themselves and have fun on our day an I can 100% happily say they all did and this was all down to Dine with Style!
