Having just returned from our wedding in Tuscany on 30th July and our fabulous honeymoon, as the dust settles I had to sit down and write you a brief note of thanks for the amazing service you provided with regard to my wedding dress.

After visiting a number of bridal salons I entered your sanctuary on Whiteladies Rd and was immediately impressed by the sense of calm professionalism you all exuded. I can't remember the name of the lady who assisted me on my first visit, but she really knew her stuff. After asking me to pick out the dresses I would like to try on, she recommended two others that she thought would suit me. I ended up choosing one of these, Ian Stuart's 'Premiere', to be my dress.

But I was a fussy bride - I wanted the neckline altered and bustle ribbons put in. Plus, I was shopping alone as my entire family was in Australia. Nothing was too much trouble for you all. Every time we spoke you were so helpful and accomodating. You packaged my dress beautifully for its long journey on the plane and it arrived in Italy looking just as fabulous as it had looked in your shop.

We had the most brilliant day - a total fairytale - and I cannot count the number of people who have commented on the elegance and understated beauty of my dress, not to mention what a great match it was to me! I really feel that I looked like myself, only better than usual!

Thank you so much for your help, advice and great service. I have recommended you to everyone who has asked about the dress.

We wanted to thank you for everything you and your staff did in the run up to our big day. I think it's true of weddings that you often buy from the people, those that inspire confidence in you. I found my dress on your stall at the NEC wedding show and found everyone to be so helpful. In such a crazy environment as a wedding show, I never felt rushed to make a decision or get out of the dress before I was ready.
Subsequently, it was important to me to travel to your shop in Bath to have the alterations done and to choose my veil even though it involved a 4 hour round- trip.
The dress was amazing, fitted perfectly and I loved the veil we chose too. And thank you for packing it so expertly.... it survived the flight!!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all your help with my last minute dress crisis last month. I got married on 31/5/08 and my Alan Hannah ‘odile’ dress was perfect. Thank you for fitting me in with 5 weeks to go and for persuading Alan Hannah to do it so quickly. Please pass on my thanks to the relevant people at Alan Hannah as well.
