Here is how it works…
Designing your bespoke Wedding Dress.
Every bride has a complimentary consultation at Catherine’s Bath based studio. Catherine will listen to and interpret your ideas and dreams before putting forward her own suggestions on what style she feels will suit you best and make you feel special. Great attention is paid to silhouette and choice of fabrics. You will be inspired by the sumptuous silks and finest laces sourced from around the UK. Together you will create the wedding dress of your dreams that will ensure you look perfect and feel comfortable on your wedding day.
The Wedding Dress begins.
For your first fitting, Catherine will have made a toile – a sample garment in unbleached cotton. This is the pattern for your wedding dress. You will try this on and, if required, adjustments in fit and design are made. Only then will the dress be cut in your chosen silks.
The Magic Happens.
Catherine will now use her skill and expertise to hand craft a distinguished gown that radiates richness and style. You will begin to see how beautifully elegant your wedding gown promises to be.
Complete the Look.
Catherine will happily advise on veils, tiaras, shoes and other accessories as your gown progresses. She can supply these from an extensive and beautiful selection at her Bath studio. Catherine also creates wraps and stoles in feathers and fur and other sumptuous fabrics as well as cloaks in satin lined velvets.
The Bridal Party.
To be perfectly coordinated, Catherine will be delighted to advise on and create beautiful dresses for bridesmaids and flower girls, outfits for page boys, mothers not forgetting waist coats, ties and cravats for the groom.
