The Bath Business Women's Association (BBWA) was started in June 1996 to provide a friendly and supportive environment for like-minded businesswomen to network and share business experience.
Each year BBWA hold four business lunch meetings at a top Bath hotel including an annual Awards ceremony and seven after work networking events at a venue in or around Bath’s city centre.
The BBWA currently has approximately 200 members from around the region, we encourage them to bring guests to our networking events to boost membership and increase networking opportunities.
The members range from sole traders working from home to senior executives of large international firms. They come from a wide range of sectors including law, retail, health, accountancy, design, marketing, holistic therapy, architecture, IT and event organisation.
The Benefits of Membership
The BBWA is a non-profit making organisation run by an elected volunteer committee. Membership is by annual subscription of £50.00. Benefits include:

Our Charities
One of the main purposes of BBWA, apart from the union of businesswomen, is to raise money for charity. Every year the membership votes for a new charity and over the years we have raised approximately £1,000 for each of the following good causes:
• Friends of Young Carers
• Women’s Refuge
• The Rainbow Centre
• Hop Skip and Jump
• King Bladud’s Pig Project
• Little Grace
