Amazing salon with some of the most professional staff I have ever met.My girlfriends and I visited the salon whilst staying in Bath. We had a busy day at the Christmas Market and decided to have some tlc time in the salon. We had not booked previously however we were accommodated by the lovely staff asap and made very welcome with lots of refreshments etc. We also met Amy who owns the salon and she was very friendly and gave expert advice on a range of delightful gifts that are stocked in the salon. We had the mini massages (15 minutes but felt much longer!) to revive ourselves after the shopping and it was the best £8 I have ever spent!Amazing value for money...we cannot wait to return again when we visit Bath again next year. Once again thank you so much girls!
I married in February 2009 and used Amy for my make-up.I had very particular ideas about what I wanted in terms of style given the wedding was very non-traditional. Amy picked up on this instantly and during our initial trial expertly produced just what I was looking for. On the day, I knew I was in good hands and the results were amazing lasting right through until 2am in the morning.I highly recommend the false eyelashes for the extra wow factor. If you want a friendly and professional service that delivers excellent results then look no further.
I hired Amy in the summer to do my wedding make up. From my first telephone conversation with Amy she put me at ease, and when I met Amy in person she made me feel both comfortable and relaxed. She is charming, professional and friendly, and I had complete confidence in her. Amy is very enthusiastic about her work and this is reflected in the results. She knew exactly how to achieve a special look without applying too much coverage. I remember thinking how wonderful my eyes looked - because of her expertise in colour she knew the perfect shade of eye shadow to use on me. The make-up looked good all day and evening so I felt fabulous throughout the wedding. I would certainly recommend Amy to any future brides-to-be, as her calm, professional attitude is just right in the run up to one of the most important days of your life.

She didnʼt get flustered, or panic when the photographers arrived early, and the results she produced were fantastic! Amy Morris – a Brush With Beauty Having searched long and hard for the right person to help me create my look for my wedding day, I was so completely impressed with the service Amy offered and having spoke to several hair and make up companies who didn’t really understand that style I was trying to create, was so relieved when she instantly understood my style ideas. Amy and I had a trial session first, whereby she spent a great deal of time going through ideas, magazine clippings I had and didn’t make me feel rushed in any way, which gave us time to try a couple of hair ideas and she helped with tiara ideas also, which I was struggling to find the right design. She recommended skin care regime leading up to the wedding, so that I could get my skin really glowing and even helped with hair care ideas. On the day she was the epitome of calm, which was exactly what was needed as I was so nervous. She gave me a mini facial, shaped and painted my nails and spent time making my hair look amazing and everyone commented on how elegant it looked. The make up was gorgeous, all her products are such good quality that you feel special wearing them and she created exactly the look I wanted to achieve and her expertise really made the photos look very professional.I have recommended Amy to all my girl friends who are getting married soon, she knows the bridal industry very well and offers a complete service, which is exactly what you need on your special day.I have booked a Brush with Beauty again for another event I am going to soon and will use her in the future without question.
I was lucky enough to know Amy before my wedding day, but I have to say, even if I didn’t there’s no one else I’d rather have had with me on my big day.Amy was with me right at the start of the day and immediately she was a calming influence as the nerves had started to kick in. She was professional and discreet throughout the morning and worked around family and my photographer popping in and out and asking for certain pictures etc.Having had a hair and make-up trial before the day I had every confidence that Amy would make me look my best, and I have to say she made me feel like a princess! My hair looked lovely, the only disappointing thing was that I couldn’t fully appreciate what a fantastic job she’d done to the back of my hair where she’d incorporated small flowers, but I realised when I saw the photo’s afterwards how lovely it looked. I really wanted Amy to try and make my skin look flawless as I didn’t want to look back on the photos and see any lumps and bumps, and again, her actions lived up to her words. The fact that Amy used top quality products ensured my skin looked flawless and glowing. I was so thrilled with the final result, it certainly helped take some of my worries away. For once in my life I wanted to be the centre of attention and for people to look at me as I felt a beautiful and proud bride. It was one of the happiest days of my life and I have a lot to thank Amy for as she played such a big part in making it so special. She captured perfectly the image I wanted to portray and even at the end of a long day, which involved some serious dancing, my hair and make-up looked great.From start to finish, she was professional, caring and so calm. I had a few little ‘wobbles’ during the day where things didn’t go quite to plan but every time I felt like things were getting on top of me, Amy was the one to calm me down and make me feel relaxed and in control again.I owe Amy a lot, I’d been waiting for this day for so long and with Amy’s help it was perfect!
