Local small businesses have been battling it out for the title of ‘Most loved Business’ in a campaign run by thebestof called ’14 days of love’ which concluded at midnight on Valentines Day.
Businesses asked their clients to show them some love by writing a testimonial for them, which have been showcased on thebestofbath website.
Drum roll…so who came out on top on our Love-o-meter…the results:
Artizan, the hair salon are in first place with 152 votes. They had truly great quality feedback from their clients, it wasn't just the volume of testimonials (which was huge) but the consistency of the passion they received from their clients is awe-inspiring.
Razorcat Tours, who make fun tours on their beautiful Trike came in second with 92 votes, and second place also nationally in the ‘Days out and attractions’ category
Eat 5 Star, Coffee shop and outside/business caterer in Kingsmead Square came in third place after 75 votes of love from their enthusiastic customers
Minuteman Press came 4th in Bath with 69 votes, which was actually the highest number of votes in the country for a local printer, so they win ‘the most loved Printer in the UK’
Celia Mannings Photography came in 5th place in Bath, and also 5th place nationally in the Photographers category for her fantastic business portrait photography used for websites, social media etc. (she also achieved 11th place in Bath for her Wedding photography)
Appoint recruitment came 6th place overall in Bath, and a fantastic second place nationally in the recruitment agents category. They continue to get great feedback from businesses and candidates alike.
Bobby Mak, one of Bath’s newest independent hairdressing salons on 15 Old Bond Street came in 7th.
Rosemount Mortgage Planning was 8th place in Bath, with an incredible consistency of enthusiastic feedback from their customers. Nationally they came in an amazing 2nd place for the mortgage brokers category.
Ashman Jones, the vets on London Road came in an excellent 10th place in Bath, and also 5th place nationally in their category for their passion for looking after animals.
AKM Aerials were in 10th place for their Aerial and satellite installation services

From a personal point of view, it was a pleasure to read all of the comments from these fantastic local businesses. I know that the business owners have got a lot out of the competition, many have told me how good it is to hear how much their customers love them and what they love about them. Many business people just don’t find the time to get feedback from their customers but it can be so worth it!
