Brothers Mukiter and Akikur Rahman run this award winning Indian restaurant, with Mukiter responsible front of house as head waiter and manager, whilst chef Akikur - who has been awarded a Master Chef First Class Authentic Cuisine award for his traditional Indian dishes - is in charge of the kitchen.
'Authentic Indian Cuisine with a difference'
As well as the old favourites you would expect to find such as Tikka Massalas, Kormas and Balti, there are many dishes created by Akikur that won't be found in other Indian Restaurants in Basingstoke. The Chicken Kapsila, a mild dish of tender chicken cooked with almond flour in Akikur's special sauce flavoured with herbs and spices, and served with pilau rice and vegetables is a delicious example.
