Another long-time customer, here. Mark has saved me a packet on servicing for our cars over the years, in and out of warranty, compared to main-dealer prices. Always straightforward and honest about what needs doing now and what can be done later - to get the maximum amount of use out of parts before replacement. I have had many different problems with my car. Whenever i call mark to tell him my problem he is only to happy to help me and will bend over backwards to fit it in for repair. The repair is always complete by when he says and sometimes is ready earlier than expected. He offers great service and i would highly reccommend mark to anymone needing a repair on their car. Great machanic wouldnt use anyone else.
After reading the reviews on this website I rang Mark because my wifeʼs car rear coil spring had snapped. Not only did he fit in the repair job within our required timescale, he also offered to come and collect the car when I asked him about how to drive it in that state. He arrived punctually, and brought it back repaired within 1½ hours, and his price was very reasonable. So I went back to him yesterday to get the MOT done.
I can honestly say that my only hesitation in recommending MH Autos is that if too many people find out how good he is, he might be too busy to fit me in next time!
I was fed up of the dealerships. The only service is from the front desk because they want your money, and the actual mechanics canʼt be trusted to do a good job.
A friend suggested Mark at MH Autos, and I have been a happy customer since then.
Mark is a helpful friendly bloke who knows his mechanics, can explain what is needed and can be trusted to do the best thing. He suggested I could wait another 4 months for my brakes the other day. I trust his judgement, and Iʼm grateful that my service was such great value compared to the dealer which was twice the price!

We are new to the Basingstoke area and Mark was a real find. A fantastic mechanic, honest and he explains things in laymanʼs speke and doesnʼt try to blind you with science like so many garages do. My car was recently declared a write-off by the RAC after driving into floodwaters. Mark sorted it in under an hour.

Iʼve been using Mark @ M H Autos for years, he keeps my taxi at Alpha Cars running smoothly and its about to go past the 200,000 mile stage any day and it still drives well, Give this guy a try, he is honest, reliable, trustworthy and a damm good mechanic !

I phoned Mark at MH Autos at the eleventh hour when my brake warning light continued to bleep at me. He was really helpful and swapped jobs around so he could fit me in. He rang me when it was ready, even earlier than Iʼd hoped, and when I picked it up there was a full report on the brakes and not only a job well done but at a very reasonable price.
