Len Simpson, based in Andwell, on the outskirts of Basingstoke has been involved in the windscreen repair & replacement business for almost 40 years. When Len first started in the glassworks, windscreens and side screens were cut from flat sheets of glass to fit the cars. Len then went on to a specialist windscreen repair & replacement company in Park Royal where he fitted special glass to 3 of the Beatles Bentleys and also to the Duke of Windsor’s Twin Spark V8 Napier whilst he was courting Mrs Simpson.
Len was involved in one of the very first mobile windscreen fitting services in the UK some 30 years ago. At the workshop here in Basingstoke, Len has always been an enthusiast when it comes to sourcing and fitting replacement windscreens and side screens to Classic and Vintage cars as well as any modern vehicle from Mini to Juggernaut!
