Ikebana Floral Design, based in Overton, nr Basingstoke is a specialist florist serving an area encompassing Basingstoke, Andover and Stockbridge.
We opened our doors as a florist on the High Street in Overton, nr Basingstoke on 7th February 2006. The opening was a great success with a continued positive feedback.
Ikebana is a Japanese word meaning flower arranging; it is also a spiritual discipline incorporating many styles and looks, two examples being ‘Moribana’, shallow container arrangement, and ‘Nageire, informal arrangement in a tall container. Due to the nature of these displays, it is only possible to create the design where they are to be displayed. Our florist shop is based on these principles.
At Ikebana Floral Design we cater for Weddings, Engagements, Anniversaries and Bereavements. Formal and informal arrangements are catered for where your own personal tastes will be accommodated.
