We all know that in these difficult times saving money where we can is important, but there are some things you simply cannot scrimp and save on - car parts being one.

Finding the cheapest car parts online does not always mean the best quality and they can cause unnecessary damage and further spending on your family car.  You will also need to make contstant trips to and from your mechanic, something none of us want!

Buying parts online can be dangerous.  You don't know where they have come from, they could easily be scrap parts from an old banger or parts from a car that's been in a major accident, making them potentially unsafe even after they have been fitted.

If you choose to buy parts from an unrecognised or unknown dealer online you could be spending more money later on.  But it has also been brought to my atention that it is more and more apparent for suppliers to now be adding small print that requires you to then have your car maintained by only them in the future.

Beware of this!  Always worth reading the smallprint, however long it may be.

I recommend OEM (Original Equiment Manufacturer) parts.  They are well-known, trusted, competitively priced sellers of parts for many differnt makes of car.  I use them and probaly always will do.  These parts will help keep your car running on the open road.

Importantly, they also keep your car within the conditions of your warranty.

If you want to be sure that your mechanic uses only the correct car parts then bring your car to K-Tech Automotive - much more than just a friendly car mechanic.
