Myself and my partner Suzanne attended the Basildon Echo Business Awards on Friday 17th July 2009. I was really impressed with the organisation and the whole night in general including the staff at the towngate theatre who were also very accommodating.
The evening started with a champagne reception then we were told to take our seats for a 3 course meal. At 9 o clock we were then ushered into the main theatre where the award ceremony took place. It was really good to see so many businesses being recognised within the Basildon area. Thebestof Basildon was nominated for the best Business to Business award which unfortunately we didn’t win. But what do they say, it’s the taking part that counts. We shall see what happens next year.
