Barry Ryhthmic Gymnastic Club runs classes for girls aged 4 - 16 at the Holm View Leisure Centre, Skomer Road, Barry.
Rhythmic Gymnastics is a female only sport, recently recognised by the Olympic Committee. It combines hand apparatus such as ribbons, ropes, hoop and ball with ballet and gymnastic skills which are performed to music.
Barry Rhythmic Gymnastic Club is a very friendly and successful club run by experienced and qualified coaches and was established in 2003 by Lucy Eveleigh, with the help of Alison Helm.
In recent years the club has gone from strength to strength, producing 2 British Grade Finals Champions and seeing 5 young Barry club gymnasts qualifying for the British Grade Finals in October 2006.
Barry Rhythmic Gymnastic Club is a great place to:
" I love this club, it's a combination of ballet, dance and gymnastics . The coaches at the club really look after you but push you to do your best. I'd recommend to anyone to join this club."
