Battling food poverty and helping to save the environment by intercepting and re-distributing an abundance of surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. Ulverston Food Waste Project are a community project run by volunteers. They formed in February 2020 and are based in Ulverston, Cumbria.

Monday to Saturday: 10am - 11.30am
Sunday: 6pm - 7pm
At the Parish Centre, Church Walk, Ulverston, LA12 7EN

Bread, Fruit, Veg, Frozen Meals and more. Donations appreciated - Pay as you feel.

We are working together with local shops and supermarkets such as the Co-op, Booths and M&S, to reduce the amount of food being sent to landfill. The food available at Drop-Ins is either close to, or just past, its 'best before' (not 'use by') date so it is still perfectly good to eat.

Please Drop In and take whatever you can use.
