The St Mary’s Christmas Gift Challenge 2012
23rd November 2012

St Mary’s Hospice vision is that all adults within South Cumbria with a life-limiting condition will have high quality care and support at the end of their life in the place that they choose.

In 2012 hospice patients, families and volunteers told them that they would like to see improvements to its inpatient unit.

Therefore, in 2013, the hospice would like to refurbish the inpatient unit – replacing fixtures and fittings, including the kitchen and bathrooms, and provide new crockery and soft furnishings.

By making these changes and improvements to the inpatient unit, the team can make a stay at St Mary’s more reassuring and comfortable for patients and their loved ones.

These changes although relatively small will make a big difference.

Please could you help this Christmas by giving the hospice your small change and help them make a big difference!  Every donation made to St Mary’s Christmas Gift Challenge will go to improving their inpatient unit.
