SOA Safety hosted our Social Media and Wordpress Courses last year. The training rooms and facilities are excellent and the staff are very welcoming when greeting our delegates. We have another course in March and SOA were the obvious choice, the catering packages are excellent and there is free parking too. Perfect venue for meetings, conferences and training days.
Thank you for holding an excellent first aid course over the weekend at such short notice. Myself and fellow technicians found the training very informative and your trainer delivered the course material in a kind and friendly manor. The course material had the perfect balance of theory and practical, and by the end of the three days all were comfortable with the training and felt confident they could administer it in a real life situation. I would gladly put any of our technicians through one of your courses, it was a real pleasure.
Course name: Emergency First Aid Client: Furness Enterprise I took part in the Emergency first aid at Work course on 13th March 2012. It was a fun course with information presented clearly. The trainer was very approachable and guided us through the tasks with plenty of encouragement, advice and good humour. Iâd definitely be happy to train with SOA again. Courrse name: Emergency First Aid Client: Croft Care Trust Clare the instructor has so much knowledge and was able to fully respond to every question. She was fun and friendly. The course has good scenarios for us to act out. The excellent way Clare delivered the course and the obvious depth of knowledge and love of subject, really made me enjoy the course. Clare made the course fun as well as us learning important first aid information. Rather than being sat down reading book, Clare got up and demonstrated, corrected us when we were doing it wrong. I feel like I can remember the vast majority without looking at my notes. Clare could not have done anything better in my opinion, she made us feel confident and not as though we were stupid.
Due to the professionalism and commitment shown by SOA Safety in delivering our annual Incident Command Training I asked their instructors to provide our employees who are asked to work in confined spaces with a suitable course to enable them to carry out this task. SOA Safety staff attended site to gain information on the facilites that were available for them to use and to gather information on our Confined Space Entry Permit and procedure. The course that was delivered was excellent. The presentation provided by the instructor was detailed and structured to the site needs. The applicable legislation, safe systems of work and permits to work specific to the site and our own procedures for risk assessment and confined space entry were covered in the presentation. The practical element of the course dealt specifically with the eqipment that we use on site and was linked to our permit and procedure. The day ended in a full exercise and debrief covering all elements of the sites confined space entry procedure in which the recipients made entry into a production vessel. I would like to thank SOA Safety for their professionalism and commitment in providing the course and would recommend SOA Safety to provide training or consultancy to companies.
An otherwise dry and difficult subject was made interesting, fun and enjoyable. The information presented was up to date, factual and relative. The trainer made us feel comfortable to participate. This is the best training course I have been on.
Our staff attended a 1 day IOSH Managing Safely course delivered by SOA Safety. The delegates on the course really enjoyed the way the course was delivered by Joe Little the trainer. One of the delegates commented on the course being. "Very good, I liked the way that Joe the trainer showed the potential impact of any health and safety issue" Also another delegate mentioned that "I liked the way Joe made the course very easy to understand and highlighted the importance of health and safety in the workplace"
