Our background.
Rock Energy Solutions was founded in 2009 as the result of a need to provide small and medium enterprises in Cumbria and the surrounding counties with a local, independent energy advisor able to specialise in both Green IT and commercial energy assessment.
The company's founder has over thirty years experience in IT planning and the delivery of cost-saving and service improvement solutions to a number of blue-chip organisations. As well as being a long-standing member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (MIET) we have recently been awarded professional membership of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (MBCS) and have gained "The Green IT Qualification" from the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB, part of the BCS). In the commercial energy assessment arena we have passed the Level 3 Diploma in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment awarded by ABBE (the Awarding Body of the Built Environment).
