I just wanted to give some feedback to JM Contracting regarding a job we recently finished. The customer had secured your services for an extremely large loft conversion, which in turn you recommended us for the tiling.

When the customer visited our shop to pay our invoice she praised your extremely high standard of work. She said that she would have been unable to trust anyone else with completing the work to such an exacting standard, and the job was completed mostly in her absence.

When I went to finish our part of the work, the customer walked me round the finished coversion, at times she was unable to express her gratitude because of the obvious time and effort you had put into the project.

As a consequence we would not hesitate to recommend JM Contracting for any type of loft conversion or extension in as the proof was in the pudding!

When the local hooligans, with a possible eye for robbing my photographic studio, decided to kick my rear door in, it was of great concern that my property was left vulnerable.

I'm a photographer and as someone who has as much joinery skill as a caveman with a blunt piece of stone, it was a great relief to have my new door installed by JM Contracting.

I can now sleep soundly in my bed, knowing that my security is once more in place, thanks to JM Contracting and the attention to detail that the team took over the installation.

There will be no hesitation in recommending them to my colleagues, now that I have first hand knowledge of the professional service and skill they provide.

JM Contracting recently repaired my elderly relative's bay window. She had previously used a cold caller who carried out such poor and shoddy work that the repair was totally ineffectual.

John Martin called to see her and within minutes had put her mind at ease and explained in non-jargan terms how he would carry out the required repair and provided contact details and a quote for the job that she was able to send to her insurance company.

True to his word, John arrived at her house on time and completed a really high quality job promptly and to her satisfaction - a remarkable feat in itself (the satisfaction, not the quality job!).

I can and will continue to recommend JM Contracting for any joinery and building work. They are truly a local firm providing quality work to local people!

John recently completed an extension to our house, and we are absolutely thrilled with the new space.

The under floor heating has been a real success, we have turned all the radiators off on the ground floor as we are finding it does the job on its own! The oak truss and rafters speak for themselves, and it makes a great first impression on our visitors who have all commented on the quality of the works.

We would like to pass on our thanks to all of the team for their efforts.

When we first considered creating a new open plan kitchen/living area in our house, little did we realise just what we were letting ourselves in for and in the end, how much we were going to change our home.

It seems a long time now since we first drew up our plans and then began the search for a reliable builder. We were impressed from the outset with the friendly manner, smart appearance and keen eye for detail. Having been assisted by John's advice and detailed quotation, there was little doubt in our minds that we had chosen the right builder for our work.

Despite the various highs and lows, set backs and frustrations which are inevitable during any building work, we can honestly say that one constant throughout the whole project was your professionalism. The problems the team encountered, coupled with our demands for additional work must have given many of the people there a headache. However at no time did we feel under any pressure from John and thanks to him, we felt supported at all times and confident that no problem was insurmountable.

It is obvious that the quality of the build is in no small measure a consequence of John's personal high standards and constant review of his team's work. Despite being let down by our door supplier and subsequent delays we felt supported by John and his team. We are very grateful to John for this and for giving his time latterly to meet with the company's managing director to help us overcome our grievance.

We are delighted with the end product and it greatly surpasses our expectations and has attracted many, many positive comments from visitors. You can be sure that we are thoroughly enjoying the use of our new space and are recommending JM Contracting to all our family and friends.
