Former Barrow AFC striker Jason Walker's goal goes global!

If you followed the BBC news online last weekend you would have seen that Barrow AFC’s former top goal scorer was in the headlines.

His curling bicycle kick for York City FC against  Grimsby Town was caught on camera and described as “better than Rooney’s" . This spectacular goal has recently been watched by more than a 150,000 on the internet via the club’s website  – including  15,000 views in Poland, 6,000 in Isreal, and 2,000 in Vietnam!

We must also mention another great goal last weekend from ex-Barrow striker – Grant Holt who hit the headlines with his equalising goal for Norwich at Anfield on Saturday.

Barrow themselves won again on Saturday beating Kidderminster Harriers at  home with a 3 – 1 win. This moved  them comfortably into the top half of the Blue Square Bet Premier table.

Why not come down and see them ( and Jason), on Saturday the 19th of November at home against York and give them the support they deserve!
