Barrow AFC Pre-Season Friendlies Finalised

Barrow have now completed their line-up of pre-season friendlies for the coming summer.

Doncaster Rovers and Wigan Athletic have agreed to send sides to Holker Street, while there has been a minor adjustment to the Workington fixture.

Doncaster, like Oldham on July 9th, will bring a full first team squad to Barrow on Saturday July 16th, while a Wigan Athletic XI will travel to Furness on Tuesday July 26th.

With the Barrow squad on a team building exercise that week, the previously announced Workington game will now take place on Friday July 29th, kick-off 7.45pm. Barrow would like to thank Darren Edmondson and Workington for their co-operation in moving this fixture.

Barrow hope to entertain a Furness Select side on Saturday July 23rd. The profits from this game will be shared equally between the Barrow Junior Football League and Barrow AFC Football in The Community. Despite this game being in the middle of the local clubs' pre-season, it is hoped that they will still release players for this fundraising event.
